RAF Wittering Families Day Friday 23 July 2010
I have received a letter from RAF Wittering asking if PSGC would like to attend their Families Open Day on 23 July. We are allowed to fly in and park on the flight line so that they are on display with rest of the hardware (probably a lot faster and expensive) should be a nice day out with free food, air display and ground entertainment. If you want to go I have to reply with names and aircraft details asap but no later than 30 April. So get yourself an aeroplane, or sweet talk an owner, hire the Husky or Pawnee and come along. I need to know call sign, P1 and names of passengers at the moment. Bad weather options will be by car, but I will sort that out later on when I have more details

Kev, does the invitation extend to those of us who might not find a free seat to fly in? Can we drive in?

And if not, can I ask nicely for the fourth seat in the Marchetti??? Big Grin

RE: RAF Wittering Families Day Friday 23 July 2010
Would anyone be interested in a seat in a Robinson R44 (2 available) for this event?

Cost would depend on which one I could get for the day and where it's hangared.
Would either be a running rotors pickup at the club or maybe a road trip to Nottingham and go from there.

Just trying to gauge if there's any interest first before I decide whether it's a 4 seater or just Sara and I in a 2 seater.

Anyone interested can email me to save space here if you prefer.
